Gangnam Station, the boutiques of Garosu-gil and Apgujeong, and the Banpo riverside
This page covers three separate areas south of the Han River: the streets around Gangnam Station, Garosu-gil in Sinsa with Apgujeong Rodeo beyond it, and the Banpo riverside by the Express Bus Terminal. COEX and Jamsil have their own pages: COEX & Samseong and Jamsil & Lotte World.
Garosu-gil to Apgujeong Rodeo is a 25-minute walk or a 2-minute taxi ride, and the two take about two hours together. The stretch from Gangnam Station to Sinnonhyeon is the liveliest at night. The Banpo Rainbow Fountain runs from mid-March to October and can be cancelled in high wind or heavy rain.
Below, the guides are grouped by neighborhood, followed by one-day routes, hotels in the area and the stations you will actually use.
